Parking Information for Drivers
- The most desirable parking spots are in Parking Lot A near the front entrance to York Hall. You need to arrive early to get a spot in the top parking lot.
- If Lot A is full: Use the larger lower-level parking lot. It’s bigger but requires climbing about 115 steps up to York Hall. The entrance to this lot is on the north side of York Hall, down a winding road through the forested ravine.
- Alternative parking: You can park along Lawrence Avenue or nearby streets. Please park considerately—leave space for two cars between driveways and respect homeowners’ access.
- Carpooling: Sharing rides with other members is encouraged and has worked well for many people.
LLIR Parking at Glendon Campus provides you with detailed information about the HONK payment app as well as machine payment options. You will also find a map of the parking locations.
TTC Access
Location of Stops: TTC bus stops are on Lawrence Avenue East and Bayview Avenue for access to Glendon, on both the east and west sides of the Lawrence Avenue bridge over Bayview Avenue.
Lawrence Avenue Discontinuity: Lawrence Avenue East does not run continuously through the city. It ends at Bayview Avenue near Glendon and does not cross the Don Valley ravine. It resumes just west of Leslie Street and continues eastward. There is no bus service on Lawrence Avenue between Bayview and Leslie. Local residential streets must be used to navigate this gap.
Bus Routes and Subway Stations:
- Most TTC routes start and end at subway stations
- For direct routes without transfers, buses start from either Davisville Station or Lawrence Station.
- From Davisville Station, the northbound route 11A goes north to Lawrence Avenue, with a short detour through Sunnybrook Hospital.
- Northbound Route 11C from Davisville Station turns around at Sunnybrook Hospital and therefore does not go to Lawrence Avenue and Glendon.
- From Bayview north of Lawrence, southbound Route 11A goes south to Lawrence Avenue and ends at Davisville Station.
- From Lawrence Station, buses 124 and 162 travel east on Lawrence Avenue to the Lawrence Avenue bridge for access to Glendon.
- As of August 31, 2025, the bus terminal and main entrance to the Lawrence subway station have reopened. Routes 52 Lawrence West, 124 Sunnybrook, 162 Lawrence-Donway and 952 Lawrence West Express will return to their regular routes and service, picking up and dropping off customers in the terminal.
- 52 Lawrence West and 952 Lawrence West Express will no longer divert to Eglinton Station.
Note: All major TTC routes serving Glendon are currently running. No temporary suspensions are in effect.
