Many people are interested in later-life learning. While you await the next LLIR waitlist, check out some other organizations that offer both in-person and online learning opportunities.

Before you apply to join our waitlist, please review the following considerations:

If you are applying for more than one member of the same household, apply for each person separately.
LLIR cannot process a waitlist application that uses the same email address as another applicant or an LLIR member. Be aware that you must have a unique email address.
By providing your email address, you are giving LLIR explicit permission to send you electronic communications. We send notifications and materials to the email address that you enter on the application form. If you cannot or do not want to receive electronic communications, please do not apply.
Please apply for the waitlist only once. There is no advantage in applying for the waitlist multiple times using different email addresses. Duplicate applications are deleted.
People on the waitlist are invited to register for courses after current members have completed the registration process. The number invited depends on the number of vacancies available.
Applicants are given two opportunities to become members. If they turn down both opportunities, their name is removed from the waitlist.

If your email address changes while you are on our waitlist, please inform us by sending an email to registrar@llirto.ca so we can update your application.

The Waitlist is Open

We are now adding names to our waitlist. The size of the waitlist is limited to attempt to keep the time that applicants can expect to wait for membership to under two years.

When your name rises to the top of the waitlist, we send an email inviting you to become a member of LLIR and to register for courses.

Note: Applications carry forward from year to year. Please do not apply again if you did so within the last few years.
